Metropolaz Entertainment
Zonafied Family Networks is a family-owned business and operates in the Phoenix Metropolitan area serving the greater southwest USA. The goal of this company was to create the ultimate interactive community outside of social media. The idea was to give users more than a chat system or a place to share photos. As we started our research on creating such a project it required us to speak to a lot and I mean a lot of people to find out what they wanted as was willing to use daily like social media. It didn't take us long to realize that online users like to be continuously informed and most of all included in daily activities. The next gem we discovered is that users do not like being redirected to other websites when they click on items on a psge. Simply put, if it is there don't make them have to click more than once to get the information they seek. This sent us in the direction of not sending users outside the network except to see other sites listed in the network.

One feature we definitely wanted to add is for business owners to be able to control the content in their listing. Unlike Google, our search engine allows business members to change and update their directory listing anytime they needed. For instance, if a business wanted to change their listing in other search engines, they would have to change the content on their website and wait for the search engines to spider their site. This can take weeks. The Oracle directory allows business users to change their listing as often as they like.
And now for the most important feature. Allowing business and members to monetize their accounts by adding their paid content to their accounts.

By adding network API's to our service allows members who have pay per view or pay per listen accounts can add their content right into the oracle. The best part is the network is free to use so no one has to be your friend to view your content.

The word ZONA-FIED is an acronyn of ariZONA and uniFIED. The idea was created when the founder James Manley Jr was designing the metropolaz community. During developement of Zonafied, he got the idea to instead of creating a what's up network of paying companies to advertise their entertainment on, he would instead create a platform entirely dedicated to local user content.
